Giacomo Gentili, a silver medallist in the quadruple sculls at the Paris 2024 Olympics, embodies the strength and excellence of Italian rowing.

Born in Cremona, Giacomo initially had a passion for rugby until his father introduced him to rowing. Falling in love with the sport and the freedom of the River Po, he soon discovered his natural talent and chose to nurture it at the Piediluco rowing college, where he trained under the guidance of his role model, Agostino Abbagnale.

With extraordinary physical strength and an innate ability to synchronize perfectly with his teammates, Giacomo has turned every race into a masterpiece of technique and endurance.
