Serena Pergher

Born in 2004 in Trento, Serena Pergher is a member of the Fiamme Oro sports group. She discovered speed skating almost by chance at the age of six.

What began as a game soon turned into a passion and eventually into a professional career. She developed as an athlete at Sporting Club Pergine and, in 2020, represented Italy at the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne. A specialist in the 500 metres, the distance in which she best expresses her explosiveness and power, she won gold at the 2023 World Junior Championships in Inzell. In 2026, she competed at her first Olympic Games, finishing fourth in the 500 metres at Milano-Cortina 2026.

Energetic and outgoing, away from the ice she enjoys drawing, trekking and using social media to share a behind-the-scenes look at the world of speed skating and introduce audiences to the unique and spectacular nature of her sport.
