An Italian modern pentathlete born in Rome on April 29, 1999, world champion in the modern pentathlon (fencing, 200-meter freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, combined laser run) at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships in Alexandria, Egypt and Bath, England, Elena Micheli competed in the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020 and—thanks to her success in the women's Pentathlon World Cup final—has already qualified for Paris 2024.
The current pentathlon events are as photogenic as they are unique, starting from the different muscle groups involved. You have to be very eclectic because excelling in just one event often does not bring results.
